Serles – North Couloir

In this season the latest tour allways seems to be the best one ever… Again this is true for last friday’s traverse of ‘Serles’. We did a nice variation which is being repeated only very rarely. It is hard to find any information on this, meaning if you don’t know exactly how to get there, you will need some time for route finding. Although the couloir is visible from Innsbruck and the ‘Brenner’ autobahn, the exposed access and mandatory rappel assures that this descent remains as insider tip.

Facts: Serles 2717m, 1200m+100m ↑ 1200m↓, 500m 35°-40° with sections 45°-50°, aspect: north, northeast (ascent: south)
Grade: PD, 4.1, E2
