Canalone Neri

This absolute classic leads through an snow/ice gully surrounded by rock walls up to 700 m high to the highest peak of the Brenta Group. Although the incline does not exceed 50°, the tour should not be underestimated because of the wall height of 800 m and the not particularly easy descent through the upper narrow section. In fact, with the variable snow quality we were facing, this was the most demanding ski descent in recent years

Depending on snow coverage the route has to be rated as

Cima Tosa, Canalone Neri: AD, 5.2, E3

(800m of 40°-50°, where the most technical skiing is also the steepest)
